About this program
Explore how numerous factors have shaped both the city’s past and its present. This tour combines a short trip through the historic city accompanied by a park ranger with a guided visit into the Suffolk Mill Turbine Exhibit.
Attendees should plan to meet at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum (115 John Street) 15-minutes prior to the tour start time.
Visitors should plan for a 75-minute tour, much of which will be spent on your feet. When available, visitors will take a short ride aboard the historic trolley to the Suffolk Mill. This tour meets and ends at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum (115 John St.)
Please note that t rolley services may be disrupted at any time due to city construction. In the event that the trolley cannot operate, the tour will take place on foot. Visitors can expect to walk as much as 1.5-miles on paved paths and are encouraged to bring water.
