About this program
Join a ranger to see and hear some of the wide variety of resident and migratory birds found at Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, including raptors, warblers and various songbirds. While you explore the area around Lunksoos Boat Launch, you may hear more birds than you can see. Bring binoculars and a device with the Merlin app if you have them.
The walk will take place on gravel roads and grassy areas. Footing may be uneven.
A vault toilet is available at the Lunksoos Campground.
