About Pyramid

Pyramid is a ghost town in Washoe County, Nevada, that once functioned as a stop along the Fernley and Lassen Railway, situated between the stations of Bristol and Big Canyon. A post office served the community for roughly five decades, operating from early 1904 until late 1959, suggesting at least a modest and lasting local presence.

Today Pyramid is an unincorporated and largely vanished community. Visitors drawn to Nevada ghost towns will find little documented infrastructure remaining, and the experience is primarily one of open landscape and historical curiosity rather than preserved structures or interpretive sites.
