North Winnie semi-primitive non-motorized area has 24 miles of trail. There are primitive campsites in the area for the day or overnight trips. There are also several small clear lakes, a meandering creek and a wildlife impoundment. The area will provide opportunities for hiking, hunting, wildlife viewing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, horseback riding and many other non-motorized activities. The rolling topography offers cross-country and mountain bike trails for the intermediate and advanced skiers and bikers. The trails are mowed in the summer; ski routes are not groomed in the winter
