About Windy Point Winter Trailhead
The Windy Point Trailhead lies two miles north of the forest boundary along the Stevens Gulch Road #701. This sites is the northern terminus of winter plowing on the Stevens Gulch Road, and it serves as a winter trailhead for skiers and over-snow vehicles accessing groomed routes further north on the Stevens Gulch Road and west on the Schoneman Road #703. The trailhead has a toilet and information kiosk.
