WEST FORK

The West Fork Trail (# 1) is 11 miles long and passes Calamity Falls, Sentinel Falls, and Quinnebaugh Meadows enroute to Sundance Pass. There is a 1.4 mile side trip to Lake Mary (# 1B) from Quinnebaugh Meadows. The trail follows the grade of the West Fork of Rock Creek until it climbs steeply to Sundance Pass. Elevation change: 3000 feet. The trail is open for the following uses: hiking, horseback riding. *Please be aware that travelling in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness comes with additional regulations. Please know what is expected of visitors before entering the wilderness.
