UPPER PITTSBURG LANDING

Upper Pittsburg Landing Picnic Area is located on the shores of the Wild and Scenic Snake River in Hells Canyon. From the site you can enjoy watching jet boats and rafts go along the river and look at the canyon walls. During the Summer months the temperatures can be very hot. There is poison ivy in and around the picnic sites and an occasional visit by a rattlesnake. Located nearby are Pittsburg Campground and Pittsburg Landing Boat Launch.
