This trailhead offers access to the loop trail system for ATV and motorcycle riders. There is a 64"" max width for machines. The Timberline ATV Trail is a system of 39 miles of interconnecting trails, railroad grades, and roads. This is the easiest rated ATV trail on the Allegheny National Forest. The entire trail is TWO-WAY traffic. All trails are open depending on weather and trail conditions from Friday of Memorial Day Weekend through the last Sunday in September. Call your local Ranger District Office to check on current trail conditions and closures. Facilities at the Timberline trailhead include a paved parking lot, loading/unloading ramp, vault restroom, hardened rustic campsites and informational signing.
