This trail traverses a steep, west facing side slope high above the South Fork of the Teton River The trail immediately crosses the South Fork of the Teton from the end of the road about .2 miles in from the South Fork Teton Road. The steep climb to the South Fork - North Fork Deep Creek pass is well worth the views to the north and south. Bears may frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers and remove all food from area after eating. Mandatory food storage is required.
