About SOUTH CREEK (SOUTH)
There are two trailheads that provide access to the South Creek Trail 401 and Louis Lake Trail 428. South Creek (North) is located on the main Twisp River Road and is adjacent to the past South Creek Campground. South Creek (South) is located on the southwest side of the Twisp River, near the Twisp River Horse Camp. The South Creek Trail 401 is not accessible to the public nor maintained beyond 2.5 miles where the trail enters a private inholding within the Lake Chelan Sawtooth Wilderness. Call the Methow Valley Ranger District for more information.
