Packwood Lake Th

An extremely popular trailhead providing access to the Packwood Lake Trail #78, which goes into the Goat Rocks Wilderness and is hiker and horse only. A wilderness permit is required to enter the wilderness area. Permits are free and self-issued 4 miles in once you reach Packwood Lake. Motorized and mechanized uses are prohibited in wilderness areas. There is one accessible vault toilet and a picnic table at the trailhead. Horse trailer parking is recommended at the lower trailhead (Pipeline Trail #74).
