About East Fork Trailhead
East Fork Trailhead is located in the remote reaches of the southeastern Absaroka Mountains, and provides access to the Washakie Wilderness area via the East Fork Basin. Food and bear attractants must be stored in accord with the Shoshone tiol Forest Food Storage Order. The trailhead contains ample parking, visitor information, bear boxes, and equestrian amenities. There is a 16-day stay limit.
