About Cedar Creek Lower Trailhead
Start here for a three mile uphill hiketo the upper trailhead. The total elevation gain is 790 feet. Much of the lower trail follows the old highway through the juniper forest zone. Although juniper dominates the dry, south-facing slopes, you will enjoy willows, aspen and ponderosa pine too. Be sure to pick up a free brochure for the interpretive sites at the lower trailhead and at the upper trailhead. The upper trailhead is located at the Cedar Pass Ski Park.
