About Berry Patch Th
An extremely popular trailhead providing access to Goat Ridge Trail #95, Snowgrass Trail #96, and Klickitat Loop Trail #7A, all of which lead into the Goat Rocks Wilderness. Berry Patch was the site of a Forest Service Ranger Station from 1910 to the 1930s. Long before that, the site was an important Taidnapam/Yakama Native American berry-picking site. The site has one vault toilet, garbage can, and picnic table. A wilderness permit is required to enter the wilderness area. Permits are free and self-issued at the trailhead. Motorized and mechanized uses are prohibited in wilderness areas.
