About Albert Trailhead
This primitive trailhead (pronounced "al-bear") accesses the east side of the Petty Mountain roadless area via the Albert Cr. Tr. No. 719. The full 6 mile trail connects to the Wild Horse Point Tr. No. 720, with junctions along the way with Albert Point Tr. No. 732 and Petty Mountain Tr. No. 8 (via Tr. No. 731). This network provides several opportunities for overnight use, loops, or point-to-point hikes. All trails in the area are closed to motor vehicles (except Tr. No. 720, see Motor Vehicle Use Map).
