Strawberry Mountain Wilderness

Strawberry Mountain Wilderness spans nearly 70,000 acres of federally protected backcountry in Oregon, offering hikers and backpackers a genuine non-motorized escape. This is true wilderness, managed by the Forest Service under strict protective designation.

Depending on access points and season, the wilderness opens in late spring and remains accessible through early fall, though weather and snow can limit reliable passage.
