Rock Creek Wilderness

Rock Creek Wilderness is a 7,273-acre federally protected wilderness area in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It offers backcountry hiking and backpacking in a primitive, non-motorized setting where solitude and undeveloped landscape are the primary draws. Access is on foot only—no roads, motors, or mechanized travel of any kind are permitted. Visitors must practice Leave No Trace principles and be self-sufficient; this is true wilderness, not a developed recreation area.
