Mount Olympus Wilderness

Mount Olympus Wilderness is a 15,434-acre federally protected wilderness area in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It offers a backcountry experience in a primitive setting where no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted—only foot traffic and non-motorized recreation allowed.

The area draws hikers and backpackers seeking solitude and a true wilderness experience away from developed infrastructure. Visitors come to explore on foot, carrying what they need and adhering to Leave No Trace principles to preserve the landscape. Access requires walking in; there are no vehicle routes or facilities within the wilderness boundary.
