Ishi Wilderness Area

Ishi Wilderness Area is a 199-acre federally protected wilderness in California, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. It offers backcountry hiking and backpacking in a primitive setting where motorized travel, mechanized equipment, and developed roads are prohibited. This is a place for solitude and self-reliance in non-motorized terrain.
