Copper Salmon Wilderness

Copper Salmon Wilderness is a 13,724-acre federally protected wilderness area in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It offers backcountry hiking and backpacking in a primitive, roadless setting where solitude and untracked terrain define the experience.

This is true wilderness: no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. Visitors must travel on foot, and the landscape demands self-reliance and Leave No Trace ethics. Access is foot traffic only, with no facilities or maintained trail infrastructure guaranteed.
