Lake Jeanette Campground is a campground with 10 drive-in sites and 2 walk-in sites. Open from May 1-September 30, six of the drive-in sites are available for reservation and 4 drive-in along with the 2 walk-in sites are available on a first come/ first served basis. Located on a granite rock outcropping in a mix of pine and spruce trees. It offers scenic views of the island-studded lake. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire grate. RV's and campers up to 35 feet in length can fit in most sites. In 1933 a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp was established at this site. Over 200 young men in the CCC lived here, built roads and trails, planted trees, and forever enriched the Superior National Forest. Lake Jeanette is also a convenient location for visitors of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness to camp overnight before or after their canoe trips.
