A 97-mile trail system connecting Albany to Amsterdam along the Mohawk River and Erie Canal. The trail offers a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces through historic canal towns and rural landscapes. Popular sections include the Cohoes to Waterford segment.
Trail may be muddy in early spring; some unpaved sections can be dusty in late summer; generally rideable through fall until snow.
