Up the road, Prettyboy Reservoir at 530 feet offers a completely different experience: largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and chain pickerel in still water, accessed off Gunpowder Road. That mix of river trout fishing and reservoir bass and perch fishing in one small area is what makes Sparks Glencoe worth the trip.
