Redstone

Redstone Ski Area, located in the rugged mountains of Colorado, operated as a modest regional ski destination before its closure. The area offered access to varied terrain in the Elk Mountains, with the potential for both groomed runs and backcountry exploration. The surrounding landscape provided excellent opportunities for summer hiking and alpine touring, with stunning views of the Crystal River Valley and peaks exceeding 12,000 feet. Though no longer operating as a commercial resort, the area remains accessible to backcountry skiers and summer recreationalists seeking solitude and technical terrain in a less-crowded corner of Colorado's high country.
