Nordic Woods

Nordic Woods is a small ski area located near Birchwood in northern Wisconsin, operating at an elevation of 1,375 feet with 122 feet of vertical drop. The terrain is modest but suited to beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a local hill without the drive to larger regional destinations. Winter conditions typically support skiing and snowboarding from December through March, depending on snow cover.

Access is straightforward from the Birchwood area. Given the limited vertical and size, Nordic Woods functions as a neighborhood ski hill rather than a destination resort, making it most practical for day visits from nearby communities in Wisconsin.
