Loveland Basin sits high on the Continental Divide at 12,688 feet, making it Colorado's highest base elevation and one of the longest ski seasons in North America. The resort spans 1,789 vertical feet across 97 runs serviced by 7 chairlifts, offering a well-balanced terrain mix that appeals to all skill levels. The 49 intermediate runs and 25 advanced runs form the backbone of the resort, while 16 beginner-friendly greens and 6 expert-only runs round out the diverse offerings. While Loveland focuses primarily on downhill skiing and snowboarding without developed terrain parks or extensive Nordic trails, the adjacent backcountry terrain offers opportunities for adventurous skiers to explore the Continental Divide. Summer activities are limited due to high elevation and brief growing season, making this a winter-focused destination.
