About Copper Mountain
Copper Mountain stands as a comprehensive ski resort straddling the Continental Divide in Colorado's Summit County, with 2,618 vertical feet of skiing spread across 143 runs and 23 lifts. The terrain is strategically organized by difficulty across three main mountains—Copper North, Copper South, and Tucker Mountain—making it exceptionally user-friendly for mixed-ability groups. With 35 easy runs, 40 intermediate runs, 51 advanced runs, and 24 expert runs totaling 115 kilometers of marked terrain, skiers and snowboarders find well-balanced options from gentle cruisers to steep chutes. The resort benefits from significant snowfall at its 9,726-foot base elevation and serves as a gateway to backcountry ski touring in the nearby Tenmile Range, with access to established routes for experienced ski mountaineers.
