Santa Rosa Hills

The Santa Rosa Hills are a small, isolated mountain range located in central California, just west of the San Joaquin Valley. The range is characterized by rugged, chaparral-covered slopes and steep, rocky canyons, with elevations ranging from around 1,000 to 3,800 feet. The terrain is generally quite steep and challenging, with few well-developed trails. However, the range offers a sense of solitude and remoteness not found in many other California mountain areas.
