About Three Lynx
Three Lynx is a ghost town tucked into the Mount Hood National Forest in Clackamas County, Oregon, sitting about twenty miles east of Estacada. Unlike many ghost towns abandoned generations ago, this one remained occupied until relatively recently — the final structures were demolished as late as 2020, making its transition to a true ghost town a modern one.
Visitors today will find little physical evidence of the former settlement, as the last houses have been torn down. The draw is largely the setting itself, within the national forest, which offers scenic surroundings worth exploring for the historically curious.
