About Signal
Tucked along the banks of the Big Sandy River in southern Mohave County, Arizona, Signal is a ghost town with roots stretching back to the 1870s. For roughly six decades it functioned as a mining center, drawing enough people to push its population to around 800 at its height before the town eventually faded.
Visitors today can still pick out remnants of the old settlement on the ground, and the nearby ghost town of Virginia City adds further historic context to the area. This is a place for explorers willing to piece together the past from what little the landscape has preserved.
