About Regan

Regan is a former mining town and ghost town in White Pine County, Nevada, tucked into Tippett Canyon in the South Mountains at an elevation of 6,863 feet. Its brief lifespan is reflected in the short run of its post office, which operated from August 1906 to November 1907 — little more than a year of official community status before the settlement faded.

Visitors today are stepping into a sparsely documented site where the historical record is thin and physical remains are likely minimal. The canyon setting at nearly 7,000 feet means access and conditions are shaped by mountain weather, with snow possible well into spring and again by late autumn.
