Prattville

Prattville is a ghost town in Sevier County, Utah, with roots in a short-lived settlement founded in 1873. The community took shape under Helaman Pratt, who also served as the first branch president of the local LDS congregation established there.

The settlement lasted only a handful of years. By 1878 the population had largely dispersed and the religious branch was formally dissolved, leaving Prattville essentially vacant after just five years of existence.

Visitors today are exploring a sparsely documented site, so expectations should be modest. The historical record is thin on physical remains or formal access infrastructure, making this a destination primarily for history enthusiasts and photographers drawn to the quiet of a largely forgotten place in the Utah landscape.
