About Minersville
Minersville is a ghost town in Trinity County, California, now submerged beneath Trinity Lake. When the reservoir was created, the former community was flooded and lost to the water.
There is little for a visitor to see on the surface today. The town exists largely as a historical footnote tied to the lake's formation, and any remains lie underwater rather than on accessible ground.
