Mills Prairie

Mills Prairie is a vanished settlement in Edwards County, Illinois, located about 2 miles southeast of the town of West Salem. Very little documentation survives about its origins or the community that once existed here.

Visitors should expect essentially no standing structures or formal site amenities. Like many small Illinois settlements that faded from the map, it exists today mainly as a geographic reference point in the rural landscape.
