Knightsville

Knightsville is a ghost town tucked into the East Tintic Mountains on the northern slope of Godiva Mountain, sitting about 2 miles east of Eureka in the northeastern corner of Juab County, Utah. It began as a mining camp in 1896, established and run as a company town by local entrepreneur Jesse Knight. People lived and worked here for roughly four decades before the town was abandoned around 1940.

Visitors coming today will find a quiet, remote setting characteristic of Utah's old mining-era communities. As with most ghost towns of its age, expect sparse physical remains rather than intact structures, set against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. The site is best approached as a piece of industrial and social history rather than a dramatic ruin.
