About Kimberly

Kimberly is a ghost town in White Pine County, Nevada, once home to more than 500 residents at its peak. It developed as a mining community, positioned between Riepetown to the east and the former town of Veteran to the west.

Visitors today will find the remnants of a vanished community set against the high-desert landscape of central Nevada. As with most ghost towns in the region, expect scattered structural remains rather than a preserved townsite, and little in the way of formal amenities or signage.

Access to remote Nevada ghost towns typically involves unpaved roads that can become impassable in winter or after heavy rain. Spring through fall offers the most reliable visiting conditions, with summer and early autumn generally the most accessible months.
