About Dyersville
Dyersville is a ghost town in Summit County, Colorado, named for Methodist minister John Lewis Dyer. It began as a mining community and has since been entirely abandoned, leaving virtually nothing behind.
Visitors today will find only a pair of roofless log cabin walls — the sole physical remnants of what was once a functioning town. There are no preserved structures, interpretive signs, or facilities to speak of, so expectations should be kept modest. The site appeals primarily to those interested in Colorado history and ghost town exploration.
