About Daveytown
Daveytown is a ghost town in Humboldt County, Nevada, situated east of the Slumbering Hills and roughly twenty-four miles north-northwest of Winnemucca. The settlement took its name from the Davey Mine, which drove its existence.
The facts on record for Daveytown are sparse, so visitors should arrive with modest expectations. Like many small mining-era ghost towns in this part of Nevada, what remains is likely little more than scattered remnants in an austere high-desert setting.
