About Crestonio
Crestonio is a vanished community in Duval County, Texas, situated roughly twenty miles southwest of Benavides. Its clearest claim to historical significance was serving as a stop along the Texas Mexican Railway, giving it a brief functional role in the regional rail network.
By the 1970s the settlement had faded entirely from maps, and today Crestonio offers little in the way of visible remains. Visitors drawn to ghost town exploration will find a remote South Texas landscape with no documented structures or maintained access points to speak of.
