About Cohn
Cohn is a ghost town in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, located nine miles south of Talihina. It began as a railroad switch and loading point on the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway, named after William Cohn, who operated a gravel quarry in the area.
The settlement never grew into a meaningful commercial or population center and appears to have had only a brief existence. Visitors today will find little to no physical remains — this is a place of historical footnote rather than tangible ruins.
