About Cambria
Tucked into the Black Hills of Weston County, Wyoming, Cambria is a ghost town with roots stretching back to 1889. For roughly four decades it functioned as a productive coal mining community before finally shutting down in 1928.
Visitors today encounter the quiet remnants of that industrial past set against the Black Hills landscape. The site suits those drawn to history, photography, and the particular stillness that abandoned places carry.
