About Black Rock
Black Rock is a near-ghost town sitting in the Beaver Bottoms of southern Millard County, Utah, roughly 20 miles north of Milford. It survives today as an unincorporated community rather than a fully abandoned site, meaning a handful of remnants of habitation may still be present alongside the sparse high-desert surroundings.
Visitors drawn to historic settlements will find little documentation of what physically remains on the ground, so expectations should be modest. The appeal is largely the remote, open landscape and the quiet atmosphere of a place that has faded almost entirely from active life.
