About Bald Hill
Bald Hill is a ghost town in Limestone County, Texas, located along the intersection of Farm to Market Roads 27 and 638. At its modest peak in 1942, the community supported 75 residents and three businesses, and a school had been established by 1946. By 1984, the settlement had been completely abandoned.
Visitors today will find little more than the rural Texas landscape and the roads that once connected a small, functioning community. There are no documented standing structures, museums, or formal access points — this is a site for those drawn to quiet, off-the-beaten-path history rather than developed attractions.
