Sixes River Campground OR

Overview Sixes River Recreation Site provides 19 campsites in a forested hideaway along Sixes River. Sixes River is an excellent spot for picnicing, swimming, and wildlife viewing. Recreation Camping, fishing, sightseeing, panning for gold, and water play are all popular activities at the campground. Natural Features Sixes River Recreation Site is dominated by big-leaf maple, oak, and Douglas-fir that provide copious amounts of shade throughout the campground. Nearby Attractions The area provides warm temperatures and easy access to nearby coastal attractions. Cape Blanco Lighthouse, New River Nature Center, Oregon State Parks, and several coastal beaches are nearby.
