Reimer's Cabin

Jenny Lake has long been a popular destination for recreation. In the early 1930s, new hiking trails, horse rentals, and a shuttle boat service provided visitors an opportunity to explore their new park. Shuttle boat operator Kenneth Reimer built this cabin at the edge of the lake in 1937 to support his business. The cabin is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Although this building is not open to the public, an educational sign shares more about its past.
