German Ridge Campground is a primitive campground with 20 sites, vault toilets, fire rings, non-potable water, picnic tables, high lines, and hitching racks. The campground is designed for horse camping, however, any national forest visitor is welcome to camp there. Over 25 miles of trails are available for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding. Trail use permits required for horse and bicycle use on designated trails.
