About

Allred Flat Campground is located approximately 20 miles south of Afton, Wyoming on the south side of Salt River Pass. The campground is adjacent to Little White Creek, with beaver ponds and bird-watching opportunities. Pine and aspen trees offer partial shade and summer wildflowers are abundant. Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails aren't far away, ranging from easy 1/2-mile long paths to challenging 14-mile trails into the backcountry. Nearby Smiths Fork Road offers many miles of scenic driving, especially fun with side-by-side vehicles, with beautiful views of the Wyoming and Salt River Ranges. The campground contains 32 first-come, first-served campsites with a short graveled approach off of the paved highway. Potable water via hand pumps, and vault toilets are available.
