Located 20 minutes south of Silver Lake, Oregon, Thompson Reservoir Campground is a desirable camping area located on the western shores of Thompson Reservoir. Enjoy gorgeous views of Hager Mountain and shady campsites thanks to mature ponderosa pines throughout the campground. Nineteen spacious campsites accommodate tent and RV camping. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, and three vault toilets and a boat launch when water levels are conducive. Thompson Reservoir Campground offers excellent fishing and boating opportunities on Thompson Reservoir. There is no dock at the present time but boaters can easily back their boat down the ramp into the water. Thompson Reservoir is stocked with rainbow trout on an annual basis. Thompson Reservoir campground is located across the reservoir from the East Bay Campground.
